The process starts with a no-obligation walk-through with a company representative (the main company contact with authority to manage the final project). During this walk-through, we tour the facility, assess the scope of work, and discuss the organizing process. If needed, an additional walk-through or planning session can be scheduled once a signed proposal is in place.
Business Walk-Through
Momma Knows Best! offers a complimentary walk-through for Business Organizing or Packing/Unpacking Services (excluding Health and Wellness events). During this walk-through, our organizer meets with the client on-site to ask questions, create a plan of action, estimate time, and evaluate organizational products to optimize space.
When you engage our services, Momma Knows Best will document the process with before, during, and after images and videos. These materials may be used for training and marketing purposes. We ensure that images or videos containing occupants, location information, or name identification are not used unless permission is granted by the client. It is the client's responsibility to contact our office to discuss any changes in permission.
Maintenance Packages
Momma Knows Best offers quarterly, semi-annually, or yearly maintenance plans to refresh, maintain, or rework previously organized spaces.
Our organizers will properly manage e-waste disposal, purge and organize prior to annual inventory, and offer organizing solutions for unused or underused spaces and/or added products.

Employee Relocation
Momma Knows Best offers packing/unpacking services in the DFW area as part of a relocation package, benefiting both the employee and the employer by enhancing productivity in the workplace.
Our organizers specialize in purging before packing, preventing unnecessary clutter from moving to the new space. This results in cost savings on boxes, packing supplies, and time, as moving companies often charge based on time and weight. Momma Knows Best also provides resources for selling or donating items that will not be moved.
Unpacking services include organizing and accessorizing the home. Our organizers arrange items logically or per client instructions. Kitchens and pantries are organized based on lifestyle and function, clothes closets and dressers based on style, color, and season, and bathrooms by individual need and use of products.
The Momma Knows Best team can be present on the day the moving trucks arrive, helping to place items around the home, directing where boxes should go, and starting the unpacking process. Alternatively, they can arrive a day or so after the moving trucks drop off the household items. In all cases, an organizer(s) will evaluate the specified areas of the home, discuss space planning, item placement, special requests, organizing tools (client purchased), and address computer setup and networking needs (if applicable). Some relocation clients prefer to stay on-site throughout the process, while others entrust the unpacking to our capable hands.
Additional services can be added to our Unpacking/Organizing Packages for new employees or executives.
PC & Electronics Setup
Once a home office space is properly organized, Momma Knows Best offers additional IT services upon request. Our IT staff will ensure that all devices are configured properly and networked, even if internet service is not yet available. We also provide computer repairs, set up backup methods, offer software tutoring, organize photos and files, decommission old systems, and more.
Please note that the client will be billed for the cost of products in addition to the service cost.
Storage Areas
Momma Knows Best has many resources for the efficient and environmentally friendly disposal of unwanted items after a move. Our team makes an effort to recycle most of the packing materials associated with a move. We can also schedule special pickups for large amounts of trash and items being donated to charitable organizations. In some cases, our organizers may pack and carry a small number of items to a disposal site for donation, and a tax receipt would be mailed to the client.

Since 2007, Momma Knows Best has been educating individuals, families, and organizations on how to achieve and maintain a healthy work/life balance. Her unique approach builds stronger families and more satisfied and productive employees.
Organizational presentations can take the form of group workshops, employee vendor fairs, department brown bag lunches, or individual coaching. Topics can be chosen from our website or customized for specific company needs. Besides useful information and great resources, Lorraine brings along visuals and products to demonstrate effective organizing systems for the home, home office, or the employee’s workspace. Each presentation ends with a question and answer session. Employees can ask questions in the group format or speak directly with Lorraine after the event.
